Digital Products

All products sold by Muted Canvas are digital downloads. Upon completing your purchase, you will receive a download link by email and via your account page. Files are available for download for the period specified in your order.

Because digital files are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, all sales are final. Please review our Refund Policy for details.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, imagery, and content on mutedcanvas.com is the intellectual property of Muted Canvas and is protected by copyright law. Purchasing a digital print grants you a licence to use the file as described in our Licensing terms — it does not transfer ownership of the artwork or copyright.

Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions, pricing, and file specifications are accurate. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update product information at any time without notice.

Prohibited Uses

• Reselling or redistributing our digital files in any form
• Using our artwork on products for resale (print-on-demand, merchandise, etc.)
• Claiming our artwork as your own original work
• Sharing download links or files with others outside your household
• Using our images without a valid licence for commercial spaces

Limitation of Liability

Muted Canvas is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.

Refund Policy

When We Will Issue a Refund

• The file you received is corrupted or cannot be opened
• You received the wrong file due to a technical error on our part
• Your download link expired before you were able to download your file
• A duplicate charge occurred due to a payment processing error

In any of these cases, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve the issue promptly — either by providing a working file or issuing a full refund.

When We Cannot Issue a Refund

• You have successfully downloaded the file and changed your mind
• The print did not match your expectations of colour or style
• You purchased the wrong product by mistake — please contact us and we will try to help
• Your print lab produced a poor-quality result — this is outside our control

Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the duplicate charge.

Licensing

Every Muted Canvas purchase comes with a licence to use the artwork. The type of licence depends on your order total. Please read carefully — the licence determines where and how you may display your prints.

Personal Use Licence

Included with every purchase. Allows you to:

• Print the artwork for your own home or personal space
• Give a printed copy as a personal gift
• Print multiple copies for your own use
• Display in your personal residence

Commercial Licence

Included free when you spend $100 or more using discount code 50off. Extends your personal licence to include:

• Airbnb and short-term rental properties
• Boutique hotels and guesthouses
• Interior design client projects
• Home offices and studio spaces
• Restaurants, cafés, and retail spaces
• Corporate offices and reception areas

The Commercial Licence covers display use only. It does not permit reproduction or resale of the artwork.
